ABOUT MASON TRACTOR COMPANY

Mason Tractor & Equipment Company is a third generation family business with three locations: Blue Ridge, Georgia; Cumming, Georgia; McDonough, Georgia. We have been serving this region for over 60 years.

Mason Tractor Company was started in 1940 by C.F. "Coote" Mason with a 1939 Ford Truck (similar to the one pictured below) and seven new 1940 9N Ford Ferguson tractors. The one in the picture on the back of the truck was the third out of five sold that year. It took some strong pursuasion to convince mountain farmers to switch from their mules to tractors.

"Junior" Mason followed in his father's footsteps and located his tractor business in downtown Blue Ridge.

After Junior sold the tractor business to his son, Bill Mason built a new building at the Blue Ridge, Georgia location in 1998 and expanded the business to include construction equipment as well as all of your agricultural tractor needs. In 2006, Mason Tractor & Equipment Company opened a location in Cumming, Georgia carrying the Kubota Tractors and Excavators as well as the Bush Hog lines. In 2007 a new location was opened in McDonough, Georgia.
